The Girls

We have the best 2 dogs in the world, and they in turn have the very good owners ;) They are a huge part of our life, we include them in almost everything we do. And they are quite well traveled, having been to France, Czech Republic , Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and a dozen states in the US. Maya, a.k.a Goosebaum or Goose, is a big, black labrador retriever and playful still at 6 years old. Maple, a.k.a Fuzzy Big Woman or Fuzz, is a beautiful Belgian sheepdog who has known Frank longer than I (10 years). Every night we take them for long walks around Gmund's lakes and forests and tonight Frank captured the sunsets we see in winter. He also filmed Maya jumping from hay bale to hay bale, a nightly routine she gets super psyched for! The bales are taller than me and so hard to get up on, but she is a pro and gets so happy to jump from one to the next. Check out the video. We got a new camera since I killed the Nikon accidently somehow in Prague, and are testing out the features. Frank is upstairs making vegetarian spaghetti for us right now and so I am off. More to post after this weekend when we head down to Solden, Austria to ski.
