Easter Weekend

Happy Easter :) It is snowing right now for us and has been since Wednesday, only it's not cold enough to keep it by afternoon. Yesterday we decided to try cross country skiing 20 minutes away, further up in elevation. It was great! The snow up there was thick! We did about a 9km loop with the dogs and had a really good time. The trails were perfectly groomed, and the snow was actually pretty good and we didn't pass a soul which made it that much nicer. We came home worn out and cold from sweating so much. After showering we took a long nap :) It felt great. I love Saturdays. I bought our skis for Frank and me for Christmas 2 Christmas's ago thinking we would get to use them all the time living here in cold Bavaria. Our first winter here we had snow/permafrost on the ground from November straight through April. This was our first time using them as crazy as that sounds! We have had virtually no snow this year, nor did we last year. In February it was so warm we got out climbing a few times on the weekends. Winter decided to settle in this March however. Oh well... At least we got to use our skis!

Time for me to go clean the house some and make some food for this party we're going to this afternoon, Easter Brunch.
