9 Months Pregnant, only 3 weeks to go!

If everything is on schedule, I only have 23 days left! But, I read that most first time pregnancies go past the dute date. Ugh. I am so ready to have this baby! It is neato and all being pregnant, but I just want to be able to do the things I normally would (climbing!). Sleeping is a task now and I wake up every 2 hours (getting prepared for nursing I suppose). And I am as slow as a turtle walking around and feel so hormonal these days. Plus clothes leave a gap a few inches wide under my belly so the cold rushes in now. The baby moves lots, and you can see my belly take on such crazy shapes. And we know 100% for sure it is a boy in case I didn't share that news via e-mail with you. I have my bag all packed for the hospital just in case and have all the baby clothes ready in a closet and the bassinet in our room and rocking chair, so we are ready :) Although, mentally, I am not so ready. I just can't believe how much our lives will change and get worried.
I will be taking off from work for about 7 weeks once the baby comes, and am looking forward to that time to get somewhat adjusted. And, we have Frank's parents coming from 2 Feb to the 22nd which we are getting excited about. As far as moving, we are signing for a house in downtown Garmisch/Partenkirchen Friday that we can move into on the 15th of March. I was hoping sooner, but this gives the landlord time to paint/fix things up after the current tenants leave on the 7th of March. I just can't wait to get settled with our stuff! 2 more months.... Seems like forever away.
This weekend it is Martin Luther King Day weekend, so a three day! We might have friends coming, but if not, we might go to Grafenwoehr to visit friends, or down to Italy for some skiing (or hiking rather for me). We'll update after the weekend for sure.
Also, more good news is that Maple is using her leg better and better each day. And it is finally black now and fuzzy! Not long fur, but at least fuzzy. We take her on 40 min walks now and she does just fine. Phew! Maya is also doing well, no more seizures thank goodness. She drools more in her older age, and turns 7 on Friday! Time just flys. Can't imagine how fast it will once the baby comes.

We still don't have a name picked out, but at least have a top 4 or so. More updates soon :)

  3. Yo Yo Yo,

I can't believe you guys are so close to the due date. I hope that all goes well. Those pics are really cool. I can't wait to hear the babies name. I miss you guys. I'm so excited for you guys, and I'm glad to hear that family will be there for help and support. Just to let you guys know, I have been accepted into graduate school at Ohio State. I'll be starting March 30. I don't know what my schedule will be like over the summer, but I may have some time to travel across the pond. I sure hope so. It would be so awesome to go back to Germany and see you guys and the new baby! Hope all is well.
