My very first Mother's Day as a mother! Adds a special feeling to it. Frank let me sleep in this morning (since Cooper wakes every day now at 6-6:30am), and made me chocolate chip blueberry pancakes with bacon and had 2 pots of beautiful flowers and a nice note waiting for me when I came down the stairs. Yum. Wish we could go out with our moms to a nice lunch in Kentucky, but Skyping later today will have to do. We are getting ready to go climbing becuase it is a beautiful out, and hot! Spring is really here! Frank got out climbing yesterday, and then last night we went to the Fruhlingfest in downtown to have dinner and hear some live music. Cooper just stared wide eyed the whole time and was great and we ate crepes and brats and fries and had a big beer. Speaking of Cooper, he is now at least 16 or 17 pounds and can now hold his head real high while laying on his belly (90 degrees) and look all around. He holds his head real well now, always craning it around to look at things while we walk him around. He goes down for naps real easy in the day, but getting him to bed at night is a little more difficult, but we're getting there. Still not "sleeping through the night". As for the dogs, they are doing great. Shedding off winter coats all over our house, but Maya is still very healthy and Maple's leg seems to be holding up pretty well. Here's a video...warning, this may be very boring to some. Enjoy! Happy Mothers Day!
BEAUTIFUL!! I wanted to gobble him up! Such wonderful precious moments. Thanks for sharing! I miss you guys! Love you too! Happy Mother's Day Mandy. Sounds like you had a great treat due to a wonderful husband.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Mothers Day Mandy! It sounds like Frank really pulled out all the stops! Good on him. Cooper has that 'get that camera out of my face' look at the beginning of the video. Haha. Hope you guys are doing well and hope to see you soon!
