Well, since I returned from the states, we have had rain every single day! Yes, a new record I do believe. And temps are barely reaching 70, mostly in the lower 60s. Unbelieveable.
Frank was home all last week which was wonderful, but is gone agian this week, but home again next at least! I am hating him travelling all the time. So is Cooper.
Right now a day in my life consists of me waking up 3-4 times a night with Cooper, getting up by 7am, throwing on my clothes, feeding the dogs, and handing COoper over to Meghan. At work by 8am, rushing home to nurse/stuff food down my mouth at lunch, then back to work until 5pm. Home to walk the dogs (normally in rain) with Cooper, then back at the house by 6pm to start dinner, and then the bedtime routine for Cooper (bath, books, nursing, lullabye/rocking, swing). Then, rush down to eat the dinner and call Frank, mom/missy, and watch a few mins of TV/movie. Then, right back up to Cooper (30mins to 1 hour) after he has gone to sleep to get him back to sleep. Sometimes I then have about 20 mins to get my teeth brushed, contacts out, and face washed before sliding back into bed at 10. It sucks to be a full-time working mother. I barely have time with my son or my husband!! And weekends just fly by. No wonder people can't believe how fast they get old or their kids grow up!
As far as Cooper news goes, he is 5 months old now! Not sure what he weighs (18 pounds at least), but has slowed down for sure on the growth, eating, and chub I feel like. He got his very first tooth on Tuesday! He has been fussy all day, and woke up the night before every hour! I had no idea until I felt in his mouth, and voila, a sharp stump is sticking through his bottom gum. I think there might even be another coming next to it. Poor guy. Meanwhile, he impresses me with all of his tricks all the time. He has been able to stand just holding my fingers for a few weeks now, can pass items from one hand to the other, then his mouth. Turns when you call him (not that he recognizes his name, but at least he recognizes us talking to him), rolls around, and smiles and laughs very easily now. He loves to grab and pet the dogs now too, and they don't mind it yet...
Can he get any fatter and cuter? You two made a beautiful baby!
