2010 Already! Time has flown

What a dry spell we have had! No trips, but plenty going on these days. No exotic places anymore for a while, but enjoying being "home". We our done with living out of suitcases at last and have bought a house in Lexington :) We had wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays and got to spend lots of time with our families which was great and something we hadn't been able to do in such a long time. We even were able to put up our own tree and stockings and celebrate Christmas in our home with Cooper.

Cooper is now 11 months old and 25 pounds. Big boy still! He has changed so much since we moved back. He is now walking all over the place (but still grabs onto any object he can), but took 10 steps on his own yesterday with Frank! I missed it! He has taken a step or two to me though at least. He is saying mama and dada now, but not that often or on demand... Working on that. And he has a lot more hair now, such cute curls. 7 teeth. He was sick for the first time right before Christmas which was just awful. He had a virus and an ear infection and was a misrable baby with a fever, rash, and aches and could not sleep! Got over it just in time for Christmas Eve though thank goodness. Then, Saturday after New Years I fell walking down the stairs with Cooper and landed hard squashing his foot. He limped for a little while so we took him to the ER and spent 4.5 hours there just to get an x-ray! Horrible. The good news, he had no fractures. Just bruised. I felt so horrible. And last night he fell smack on his face trying to stand up to his walker and had a buck lip! Yikes! Hoping for better health from now on, and trying to be extra careful around the house to prevent mishaps.

The dogs are doing well. They are not fans of our yard though and trot off into all the neighbors yards since we do not have a fence for the time being. However, Frank has found a great awesome field to take them to every day to run and walk. Right now our temps our so cold though, its tough to get outside to do anything.

Other exciting news is that we have a treadwall. Frank put it together over the holidays and I can't wait to test it out this weekend.

We have loads of pics to upload, and will get some of the house on here. I love our house. We have a fireplace and a jacuzzi which are the best part. Plan to use both this weekend.

Anyhow, getting the itch to travel some, so maybe when it warms we can take Cooper for his first bouldering trip down south. And at some point, I have to go up to Rock Island Illinois for work and will bring the family.

More to come, and faster this time I hope!
